Following legal advice received from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Vishnu Singh, 24 years, of Better Hope, ECD, has been charged with rape allegedly committed on a 14 -year- old student on the East Coast of Demerara, the police said today.
He is expected to appear before the Magistrate at the Sparendaam Court today.
