The Guyana Power and Light Inc (GPL) restored the internet connection service to its prepaid system on Monday, October 26, after a disruption was experienced on Saturday October 24.
According to a GPL press release, the disruption rendered prepaid agents unable to generate prepaid juice tokens or redeem prepaid juice cards during the period.
The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company was able to successfully restore the connection and as a result, service has returned to normalcy countrywide, the release said.
