The Giftland Mall yesterday opened its fresh ‘Brand Name’ wing as a bazaar setting for local tradesmen and businesses as works to introduce retailers of high-end clothing began.
According to CEO of the Mall Roy Beepat, while none of the stores have been opened in the mall as yet, they have already been signed up.
Shoppers can look forward to the wing being fully occupied by stores like Levi Kids and Dockers between now and August.
“But just to get the public used to the fact that we are just not what you’re used to seeing, we have also opened the wing up to local tradesmen… Our idea is to always encourage the local craft and the local businesses. Towards that end we will be doing regular features in the new wing until the stores are fully open. It will be ongoing into the summer,” Beepat said.
