Neal and Massy Guyana distributed a number of Teddies products to mothers of New Year’s babies in its Marketing and Distribution (M&D) Bundle of Joy promotions.
A press release from the company said M&D representatives Candace Waaldijk and Shalini Thakur presented a hamper, including one month’s supply of Teddies pampers, to 38-year-old Shelly Spencer who gave birth to the first baby born at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corpora-tion (GPHC) on New Year’s Day. Spencer, a mother of six of Pike Street, Kitty, gave birth to a baby girl weighing 3 kgs, 620 grammes at 1.26 am.
Twenty-one year-old Sharda Mohanram, whose baby girl was born on the way to the GPHC, was also given a hamper. The Wales, West Bank Demerara resident’s baby weighed 2 kgs, 800 grammes.
Mahaicony resident Debra Katriah also received a hamper after she gave birth to a baby boy at the institution. The baby weighed 2 kgs, 600 grammes and was born at 7.33 am.
Over at the Woodlands Hospital, 23-year-old Lakshemeee Alguram delivered a baby girl weighing 2 kgs, 540 grammes at 5 am.
Alguram, of Anna Catherina, West Coast Demerara also received a hamper.
The company said mothers at the Medical Arts Centre also benefited in the promotions. Sixty Teddies bags were distributed.
