Eight matches are scheduled to be contested this week-end in the Georgetown Cricket Association under-19 40-over competition to be played today, tomorrow and Sunday.
Police Sports Club enters the under-19 fray for the first time and will start by hosting St. Stanislaus College today while Queens College tackles Richard Ishmael Secondary School at the Gandhi Youth Organization (GYO) ground.
Tomorrow, Everest Sports Club plays host to Ace Warriors.This match is scheduled to start at 9.30 am while all the other matches will start at 11am. The Georgetown Cricket Club takes on GYO at GYO while Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) plays host to Third Class.
On Sunday The Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) takes on GNIC at the GNIC ground and Transport and Harbours Department (T&HD) Sports Club plays host to Ace Warriors while Malteenoes Sports Club visits Bourda to take on GCC.
Meanwhile, the Georgetown Cricket Association is asking all clubs to send their U-15 prospects to the Everest Sports Club ground today for Trials.
