The Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) beat Third Class by 76 runs in the Georgetown Cricket Association under-19 40-over cricket competition at the GNIC ground on Saturday.
Third Class won the toss and invited the hosts to take first strike. GNIC responded with 191 all out from 36.5 overs.
Ranole Bourne, who struck two fours and two sixes scoring 45, was the top scorer while Dwayne Dotson struck three fours and a six to score 34. Rodwin Dexter chipped in with 22 including one four and two sixes.
Amir Khan picked up 3-38 and Budhan Baksh grabbed 2- 24 bowling for Third Class.
Third Class, in reply, was bowled out for 115.
Andrew Petamber top scored with 32 including four boundaries while Bourne picked up three for 26 bowling for GNIC.
