The African Cultural & Development Association (ACDA) will be hosting a number of public meetings as part of its activities to mark African History Month this month.
According to a press release from ACDA, it will host a meeting on February 8 at Durban Street & Mandela Avenue, Georgetown from 6.30 pm – 9.00 pm. Other meetings are scheduled at the same time, on February 13 at Golden Grove Market area, East Coast Demerara; February 15 at Mocha, East Bank Demerara; February 20 at Bagotstown, EBD; February 26 at East Ruimveldt, Georgetown; and February 27 at Buxton, ECD.
ACDA, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), is involved in several areas such as cultural outreach, literacy through remedial programmes, economic empowerment programmes in communities, counselling persons in depressed situations and vendor advocacy.
