A century from wicket-keeper/batsman Delroy Jacobs, led Malteenoes to first innings points against Georgetown Cricket Club in the Guyflag three-day first division encounter which ended on Saturday at the Malteenoes Sports Club ground.
Jacobs slammed 13 fours and five sixes in his maiden first-class century as Malteenoes, batting first, amassed 360-9 declared on Thursday.
Jacobs, who opened the batting, was supported by Orin Forde with 62 including 12 fours and two sixes, Stephen Jacobs, who scored an even 50 laced with three fours and two sixes and Clive Andries, who chipped in with 32.
Ravi Sarwan picked up three for 73 and Ricardo Jadunauth grabbed three for 63 bowling for GCC whose response fell short by 104 runs as they were bowled out for 256.
Waslim Haslim and Paul Bevaun each scored 42 while Vishal Singh scored 33 and Robin Bacchus 25.
Stephen Jacobs picked up four for 65 and Forde grabbed four for 59 bowling for Malteenoes who were at 141-5 in their second innings when time ran out.
Shemroy Barrington stroked nine fours in scoring 53 while Orin Forde scored 24 (three fours and one six) and Stephen Jacobs chipped in with 21.
