It was good to see Mr Vishnu Bisram, a regular and insightful correspondent to your columns, comment on GINA’s remonstration against journalist Rickey Singh’s opposition to the Guyana Government’s policy regarding its advertisements for Stabroek News.
However, I couldn’t help detecting a hint of equivocation in his presentation which seemed overweighted with extolling the virtues of Singh, as if to compensate for not developing the case against GINA. In other words, Mr. Bisram refrained from elaborating on how and why GINA defaulted.
I had eagerly looked forward to a more balanced presentation from one who has consistently displayed his analytical prowess in these columns.
