Prospective organisers wishing to host social events during the Cricket World Cup 2007 Super Eight matches here in Guyana are asked to register with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) at its office at 91 Middle Street, Georgetown, no later than February 15.
According to a release, the Guyana LOC is establishing a database of all the social events to be undertaken here during the period March 28-April 9.
This initiative, the release stated, is geared to advertise these events for the benefit of the many visitors who would be seeking entertainment, especially on the non-match days.
