The government is disbursing some $10.8M to support this year’s Mashramani activities in all ten administrative regions, central ministries and departments, Cabinet Secretary Dr Roger Luncheon said yesterday.
He said that at Tuesday’s cabinet meeting government had reviewed the implementation of this year’s programme and as is customary the celebrations continue to be organised and funded through collaboration between the administration and stakeholders, including the private and state sectors.
Dr Luncheon said that this year the decision was made to ensure that there were major Mash activities in each of the administrative regions.
