A number of fruit vendors around the city have been given an ultimatum by the Mayor and City Council to make their stalls attractive and clean or they might not be able to vend during the Cricket World Cup season.
Mayor Hamilton Green told members of the media on Wednesday that he and other members from the council have been meeting with vendors who have been given some time to clean-up their surroundings if they want to be allowed to vend.
A municipality delegation is to inspect the stalls some time this week, he said.
