Thanks for reprinting the article by Tony Best of the Barbados Nation in our embattled newspaper. It sent me on a rare roaming, and there was a headline ‘What a Guyana’ staring me in the face from the New York Post – an article by Andy Soltis with a January 27, 2007 dateline.
It leads with the statement that Kerik, who failed a nomination in his homeland as Head of Homeland Security “will get to be a presidential adviser after all.” The article reports our President, Jagdeo, had lunch with Kerik in Manhattan. Kerik says he expected to have a chat for about fifteen to twenty minutes, but it turned out to be over three hours.
