A North West man who was allegedly found with cocaine when police searched his home appeared on Wednesday in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Randolph Emanuel, 26, of 14 Miles Arakaka, North West District, Region One pleaded not guilty to possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and Acting Chief Magistrate Cecil Sullivan remanded him to prison.
It is alleged that on February 10, Emanuel had 8.5 grammes of cocaine in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Reports are that police conducted a search at Emanuel’s home and found a silver packet containing the drugs. He was arrested and later charged.
