The steering committee of the Inter-Religious Organisation (IRO) said its inaugural annual general meeting (AGM) for the establishment of its television station will be held on March 7.
In a press release, the committee said President Bharrat Jagdeo had given the IRO the mandate to introduce the Inter-Religious Television Station and it, along with other IRO officials, intends to elect officers at the AGM. The committee said one representative per organisation would be eligible as a representative.
The meeting will be held at 3.05 pm at the Bahai National Centre at Charlotte Street, Bourda between Oronoque and New Garden streets.
