Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the robbery of the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) outlet on Vlissengen Road on Wednesday.
According to the police, at 10:30 pm three men, one of whom was armed with a gun, entered the public area and confronted employee Marvic Ramlogan, 18, of Meter-Meer-Zorg, West Coast Demerara and robbed him of $5,000.
One of the men then jumped over the counter and stole $13,700 from the cash register of the company and fled.
