The New Amsterdam Champions after winning 89 games copped the winner’s trophy for the Annual Mashramani Domino Competition hosted by the National Sports Commission (NSC) at the Guyana Teachers Union (GTU) Hall.
The competition was played among persons with disabilities in Region Six.
The All Stars with 66 games was first runner-up and behind them was the New Comers who got 64 games.
Danham Hopkinson of New Amsterdam Champs was given top scorer after winning 17 games while first love was executed by Odida Stephens of All Stars team.
An NSC press release stated that trophies and medals were presented to the winners and to persons with disabilities by area coordinator Denise Leow Babb and sport organizer Wilton Spencer respectively.
