Dear Editor,
I am pleased to see all of the work being done to clean up the National Park and the Zoological Gardens, but at the same time, I am wondering when the M&CC and the Ministry of Local Government will get around to cleaning out the surrounding trenches. The ones by the zoo and by the National Park are terribly overgrown and a definite harbour of larvae and other gross things which will increase mosquitoes and infections.
I do hope that they will rectify this soon and continue to clean and maintain these landmark parks and gardens appropriately so that the general public and overseas visitors can continue to enjoy the beauty.
