Dear Editor,
Lately I have been noticing, to my chagrin, the post game antics of our Guyanese cricketers Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan.
Invariably, after a West Indies cricket match is played and the players from both sides shake hands and meet for the post game ceremony, Chanderpaul and Sarwan opt to strip their regular West Indian uniform and don shorts and vests. They stand out like a sore thumb without their team uniform, and it is a wonder that the West Indies Cricket Board has not asked them to desist from this antic.
The world will be soon watching as the West Indies and other teams play. I trust by then, our Guyanese cricketers would appreciate decorum, and smarten up.
Yours fathfully,
Devanand Bhagwan
