The Heads of State and Government of the Rio Group recently reaffirmed their support for what they referred to as the “legitimate rights” of the Argentine Republic in the sovereignty dispute with the United Kingdom over the Falkland Islands question.
According to a statement coming out of last week’s Rio Group meeting at Turkeyen, they reiterated “the regional interest that the Governments of the Argentine Republic and the United Kingdom
