Four men were last night arrested following a police chase in Alberttown during which the ranks fired four shots in the air.
Stabroek News was on hand to see when police officers were escorting the men to the Alberttown Police Station. It is alleged that the four men are robbery suspects and they were last night chased by police ranks. The men ran and the policemen in hot pursuit fired warning shots in the air. Once the gunshots were unleashed the quartet fell flat on the ground and waited to be arrested by the ranks. A small crowd gathered around the area after the incident.
