A man who was in a house at Sophia which was subjected to a police search yesterday was shot at by ranks in an attempt to subdue him. And according to a police press statement, the search operation which was conducted in “D” Field, unearthed a .32 Smith and Wesson revolver with five matching rounds.
However, police have not yet ascertained whether the suspect was hit during his escape bid.
Investigations are ongoing.
