A teenager who allegedly wounded a policeman with an ice pick was yesterday placed on $20,000 bail by Melissa Robertson Ogle at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Ronell Trotman, 19, of 32 James Street, Albouystown pleaded not guilty to unlawful wounding.
It is alleged that on March 18 at Brickdam, Georgetown, Trotman unlawfully and maliciously wounded Safraz Roshan, a policeman.
Police Prosecutor Desiree Fowler told the magistrate that the virtual complaint received the injury to his abdomen and is still hospitalised.
Trotman’s case was transferred to court three for April 26.
