Four men have been held and two others are being sought in connection with a $90 million diamond heist that was staged at the start of the month.
Police said yesterday that “there have been significant developments” in the investigation of the robbery, which occurred on March 2, in a passageway next to the New Courtyard, formerly the Palm Court bar.
Police have held the four men and they have also seized two cars along with cash. They said the cars are suspected to have been purchased with the proceeds of the sale of the diamonds. Investigations have revealed that the robbery was committed through collusion between the robbers and employees of the diamond trader.
Police also said two other suspects are being sought.
