I must applaud the letter writers, especially Mr Rudy Grant and Ms Emily James for lambasting the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport for not sending at least one of Guyana’s best artistes to the CWC opening ceremony. They deserved it and more.
Yes, Guyana has produced top-class performers that have created waves around the world. Yet the ministry found it fit not to send anyone to represent us. How insulting!
