The Chico Sweets/Smalta/Giftland Office Max Inter-Secondary School Futsal tournament will continue tonight with the quarter-final matches at the National Gymnasium from 6:30 pm.
Four quarter-final matches will be played along with three exhibition games.
The exhibition games will feature New Market Street versus Tiger Bay, Kingston versus Berlin and Guinness Bar versus Courtney Benn Construction in round two of the best of three games for five cases of Guinness.
In the opening encounter for the Super 8 matches Charlestown Secondary face East Ruimveldt while Queenstown will face Central High.
St. George’s High will play Tucville and North Ruimveldt will play Dolphin Secondary.
Meanwhile, Tuesday night’s action kicked-off with Tucville defeating North Georgetown 4-1, Queenstown getting the better of David Rose 3-2 and Charlestown edging out Mahaicony Secondary 2-1.
In other results Central High defeated Covent Garden Secondary 2-1 while St. George’s defeated Carmel in the sudden death shootout after 50 minutes of play.
North Ruimveldt defeated Freeburg Secondary 2-1 and St. Mary’s defeated Alleyne’s High 5-0.
In the exhibition matches Tiger Bay edged out Charlotte Street 2-1 and Courtney Benn Contracting Company defeated Guinness Bar 2-0 in game one of the best of three games.
