Dear Editor,
Now the People’s National Congress Reform Biennial Congress is finished, what next? It is known that the PNCR is more democratic than the other parties because it has a leadership contest but no such fighting for the leadership should be allowed.
The WRSM, the GYSM and the adults must be in harmony, and when a leader has failed in two elections he should know that he must step down in favour of another and give him full support, so that the party will live on in harmony and with pride. The people who support the party are not pleased about the way it runs its affairs.
They want the executive to show respect even if it means having a new party constitution so that no leader is allowed to feel that the party belongs to him.
It is our party and justice must be seen by all to have been done. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Yours faithfully,
Burchell Clarke
