Patrick Prashad playing at a seven handicap recorded a gross score of 74 with a net 67 to win last Saturday’s GBTI sponsored Golf tournament at the Lusignan course.
The second position went to Joanne Deo who beat Mike Mangal on a count back after the two players finished on a similar net score of 70.
Mangal played with a seven handicap and recorded a gross 77 to finish with a net 70, while Deo started with a 36 handicap scoring a gross 106 finishing with a net 70.
Colin Ming won a prize for being nearest to the pin.
The top players were presented with their prizes by John Barnes, senior manager of Inspection Department and Collette Lyken, manager of human resources and administration of GBTI.
Twenty two golfers took part in the tournament and a larger field is expected for this weekend’s Ansa McAl sponsored tournament.
Club captain John Tracey disclosed that 30 golfers are expected to participate in the tournament.
Senior manager of Ansa McAl Troy Cadogan is expected to be on hand to present the prizes at the end of the tournament.
