The East Coast Cricket Board’s (ECCB) President Cup competition will continue this week-end with a number of matches at various venues.
On Saturday at Enmore, Shivala Academy will oppose Lusignan B; Rocaway will host Cane Grove; Goodfaith and Dundee will battle at Calcutta; Calcutta will journey to Fairfield to take on the home team; Lusignan will play host to Police; Helena 1&2 will journey to Strathaven to take on the home team; Enterprise will host Gas XI and Unity will host MSC Alternative. Matches will commence at 12:00 h.
The following day, Shivala Academy will play Clonbrook at Enmore; Rocaway will host Goodfaith; Enmore will journey to Fairfield to take on the home team; Calcutta will host Helena Sports Club; MSC Alternative will take on Strathaven at Strathaven; Golden Grove will take on Cane Grove at Cane Grove; Helena 1&2 will host Perseverance; Gas XI will take on Unity at Unity; LBI will take on Novar at home; Dundee will journey to Better Hope to engage the home team and Enterprise will host Lusignan A at Enterprise. Matches will commence at 11:00 hrs.
Meanwhile, Fairfield triumphed over Shivala Academy by seven wickets in their latest fixture on Sunday. Playing at home, Fairfield bowled out Shivala for 122 with Yogeshwar Bishun 57 and Ryan De Nobrega 34 being the main run scorers for Shivala.
Bowling for Fairfield, Richard Chatura took 3-10. Fairfield in reply got to 124 -3 with Danny Nagapen top scoring with 40. Chatura returned with the bat to contribute 23 not out whilst Nayatanand Manbodh grabbed 2-7 bowling for Shivala.
