Dear Editor,
1 am pleased to report that I passed last Saturday by the Ogle Community Centre and observed that the ground has taken on a new appearance. The grass is now cut and the ground is being upgraded. I wish to say thanks to the residents who have responded in such a responsible way.
I also observed that Land Surveyors are carrying out their surveying exercise on the many streets in Block ‘Y’ South East Cummings Lodge. This gives the impression that maybe road works are going to commence soon.
Both of these issues I raised earlier in this newspaper and 1 am really happy as they mean so much to so many people.
In the case of Ogle Community Centre this project can be the first step for better things to come. It is very important for a new executive body to be elected with a new programme and bright ideas.
Since I wrote on the run down state of the community centre quite a few residents met me and voiced their concern, I in turn asked them to get involved. They also asked me to get involved. I would be happy to get involved, but only if I am invited at the proposed meeting that is planned soon. I thank the respective bodies who responded to my pleas.
Yours faithfully,
Tajpaul Gainda
