The Guyana Islamic Forum in extending Eid Mubarak greetings observed that those who kept the fast were “given the chance to ride on the path of saintliness” and the period of fasting and the abstention from normally acceptable human behaviour could only help in developing godly characteristics in man.
And expressing a special compliment to those who observed Ramadan, the Guyana Islamic Forum said “We have learnt to do with less and (to) share what we have – let us continue on this spiritual quest of loving, living and sharing.”
