The great faith of Islam has contributed much to Guyana’s religious diversity and is an integral part of our cultural landscape, the Alliance For Change (AFC) says.
It added that Eid-Ul-Fitr marks the end of the fast of Ramadan and is a happy occasion not only for Muslims but for the entire nation as the resulting goodwill touches all.
“The AFC is proud to be associated with the many religious beliefs that exist in our society and urges people of all faiths to reflect on the many values we hold in common rather than those which divide us”, the party added.
