With unbeaten points leaders Uprising on 19 points enjoying a healthy five-point lead over Fruta Conquerors and Santos respectively, both of whom are on 14 points, the winner of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Chubby U-13 League competition can be decided today when the leaders take on Pele in one of four matches at the Tucville ground.
The Pele/ Uprising encounter along with the Fruta Conquerors versus Santos match starts at 8.15am and will be followed by GFC versus Thomas United and Camptown against Alpha United at 9.45am.
Meanwhile the GFA De Sinco U-17 League tournament continues today with five matches at three venues.
At the GFC ground from 2pm, the hosts, who are in second place with 12 points will oppose Pele, who have seven points.
In other matches, Fruta Conquerors will play Renaissance at the Tucville ground in the opening encounter of a double header while the feature match will pit Thomas United against Western Tigers.
And, at the Camptown ground, Camptown who are on two points will entertain bottom-of-the-table Santos.
This match will be followed by the clash between Beacon, who sit atop the points standings with 12 points against Alpha United who are three points adrift.
This competition is expected to conclude by November month-end.
