A senior government official is under investigation for allegedly indecently assaulting a 17-year-old girl more than two weeks ago and a file has been sent to the Chambers of the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice.
Stabroek News has been reliably informed that the girl made a report to the Alberttown Police Station and the police have conducted an investigation. According to reports the official reportedly took the teenager in his vehicle under the pretext of taking her to get something to eat but instead attempted to have sex with her.
