The pathologist who performed the post-mortem on the body of Swiss House Cambio boss Farouk Razac on Thursday testified about his findings at the preliminary inquiry (PI).
Beauty queen Carolan Lynch was charged with her husband’s murder and the PI is taking place before Magistrate Gordon Gilhuys at Court Two of the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Special prosecutor Hukumchand indicated to the court that he wanted to call Dr Nehaul Singh as his next witness.
He stated that because of the nature of the doctor’s work it is usually difficult to get him. He then asked for the doctor to be able to give his evidence.
Defence attorney Nigel Hughes along with Mark Waldron and Roger Yearwood had no objection to the doctor testifying.
Dr Singh testified about his report and findings of the post-mortem conducted on Razac’s body.
The cross-examination of the witness began on Thursday but the case was adjourned and Dr Singh will return on November 8 for further cross-examination.
Razac was found dead in his Ireng Place, Bel Air home in May.
