The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Supligen U-20 tournament continues today from 4pm at different venues today.
At the Guyana National Service Complex ground, Camptown will oppose Fruta Conquerors while at the University of Guyana ground, the UG team will oppose Georgetown Football Club (GFC).
Meanwhile, Beacon defeated Santos 7-0 in a match of the De Sinco U-17 competition at the Camptown ground.
Telson Mc Kinnon scored a helmet-trick in the 35th, 39th, 50th and 54th minutes while Rawle Adams chipped in with a double in the 21st and 56th minutes. The other goal was scored by Dexter Melville in the 10th minute.
In the opening encounter at the same venue, Western Tigers were not far behind thrashing Camptown 5-0. Menassesh Primo and Colin Nelson scored two goals each with Chris Darlington netted the fifth goal. Primo’s double came in the 25th and 50th minutes, Nelson’s in the 56th and 60th while Darlington scored in the 48th.
At the GFC ground GFC defeated Thomas United 4-0 with George Ndifon scoring a hat-trick in the 11th, 49th and 69th minutes while Sheldon Stevens scored in the 64th minute.
At the Tucville ground, Pele edged Renaissance 2-1 with Andre Easton and Seon Marshall scoring in the 61st and 68th minutes. Curtis George scored for Renaissance in the 51st minute. And Fruta Conquerors and Alpha United played to a 1-1 draw.
Alpha United went ahead in the fourth minute through a defence while Junior Ramsey equalized in the 17th minute for Conquerors from the penalty spot.
In the Chubby U-13 League at the Tucville ground there were wins for Fruta Conquerors and Santos while Camptown and Renaissance played to a 0-0 draw.
In the Conquerors versus GFC encounter Pernel Schultz in the 36th, Rico Favourite in the 51st and Stefon Bernard in the 53rd minutes scored for Con-querors while Dalwin Greene scored for GFC in the 42nd minute.
In the Santos verus Alpha United clash Amunike Rogers scored the game winner in the 25th minute.
