The Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) says it is working to restore service to the St Mary’s Secondary School.
In a press release the company said St Mary’s has an adjoining service connection to a business school that has defaulted on its account and was disconnected. GWI said the connection should not have existed between the two entities and that it has put measures in place to correct the problem quickly.
The company said it regrets the inconvenience caused to the teachers and students.
