Four persons including a woman are in police custody after ranks on mobile patrol discovered an unlicensed gun in a car they were in at Peter’s Hall.
According to a police statement at around 5 pm on Wednesday, ranks stopped and searched a taxi at the East Bank Demerara location and uncovered the unlicensed .32 magnum revolver with the number filed off and one spent shell.
Police said the occupants of the car were arrested and are assisting with investigations.
