Dear Editor,
I am gravely concerned about the way in which leading political figures use our roadways with little or no regard for the lives of others.
It is commonplace to see speeding convoys of Prados and similar vehicles.
Speed was obviously a factor in the accident involving Mr Lumumba, this is despite the police having a campaign to discourage speeding.
Unfortunately, like many other cases nothing will come out of it.
Are these persons subject to the same laws like the rest of us or is this a case of “some being more equal than others?”
Yours faithfully,
D Persaud
