Osafo Modibo makes useful observations in his letter captioned, “Some AFC leaders seem not to care” (KN 07.11.12). They could induce debates on the roles and effectiveness of Afro-leaders, and or drifting those leaders into calculated directions. His perspective is not singular. At least from my broad based following both within and without Guyana similar discontent is privately aired. But while in principle I could identify with the concerns, in specificities I depart; I need to correct some misimpressions.
