Armed bandits last evening shot a Campbellville teen and robbed him of a quantity of cash and jewellery during a ten-minute robbery spree on a Sheriff Street business place last night.
Up to press time last night 18-year-old Ronald Denis Sugrim was a patient at the Georgetown Hospital nursing gunshot wounds to his foot.
Details on the robbery are sketchy, but this newspaper was told that around 8.30 last night some three men entered the business place and accosted staff, who they robbed of cash and jewellery.
Sugrim, unaware of what was taking place, walked into the business place during the robbery and he was shot in the foot. The bandits made good their escape before the police arrived.
