A one-man exhibition of mosaic art on wall hangings and table tops, themed ‘It’s all about Music and Light,’ is currently on at the Hadfield Gallery on Hadfield Street, Georgetown.
The exhibition is the second being mounted by mosaic artist Lisa Thompson-Griffith using mainly tiles, stained glass and mirrors, stones and shells on plywood.
A media invitation to view the exhibition said that Thompson-Griffith’s pieces capture her vision of music and light reflected in everyday occurrences in which her own personality, history and identity are all reflected within the choice of object, environments reflected and treatment of image.
The exhibition, which began on November 15 will run until December 15, 2007.
