Dear Editor,
My NIS number is A 1822311. I worked continuously with only one agency from the inception of the NIS, until I retired in 1991. I am being paid the minimum NIS pension. I want to find out how it was calculated.
I was involved in calculating other persons’ pensions and advising them of those calculations. In New York, I have had the same social security information provided to me without my having to ask for it. I thought that I had a right to obtain such information from NIS. If I am not correct then please let me know.
Yours faithfully,
L A Camacho
