Dear Editor,
Guyana is in an era of lawlessness, the law has been relegated to the dustbin . The ministers, presidential advisers and the head of state are showing their true colours, disregard for the law.
A country cannot progress in this state. After 41 years of independence we are yet to show the world that we truly have achieved anything tangible. Dictatorship has shown its ugly head and the poor are in for a rough ride with power outages and the cost of living going up.
Criminals come in all forms and the emergence of white collar criminals who are free to commit crimes are the order of the day. Out of court settlements make the appointments of chancellor and chief justice a waste of time.
Yours faithfully,
Vijay Singh
