Police are looking for a man who raped a three-year-old girl after drinking with her parents at Baramita, North West District yesterday.
The man, who is said to be a family friend, escaped after committing the act while the girl’s parents were asleep. Reports are the child’s parents and the man were drinking a local alcoholic beverage at their home and about 2.15 am yesterday, they retired to bed.The child cried out when the man committed the act, which roused her parents from their sleep. By the time, the child related what had happened the man had already fled.
The matter was reported to the Baramita Police Station and an investigation was launched.
