Three men are now patients at the Georgetown Public Hospital after being involved in separate accidents in less than 30 minutes on Thursday night.
Although they suffered multiple injuries about their bodies, they are listed as stable and they were admitted to the open ward of the medical institution.
A press release from the hospital said that Sheldon David, 33, of Lot 36 Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was taken to the Accident and Emergency Unit around 19:38 hrs after he was involved in an accident on the Melanie Damishana Public Road, ECD.
David sustained injuries to his head and was admitted to Ward A2.
Seventeen minutes after David’s arrival, Rattan Harrylall, 31, of Lot 151 Old Road, Eccles, East Bank Demerara (EBD) was taken there after he was hit by a vehicle on the Mc Doom Public Road, EBD.
He sustained injuries to his head and was admitted to Ward A2.
Four minutes later, Wilfred Benjamin, 56, of Lot 116 Nelson Street, Mocha, EBD was taken to the Accident and Emergency Unit with injuries to his head sustained in an accident.
He was admitted to Ward A2.
