A woman is in police custody following the stabbing to death of a Yarrowkabra labourer on Sunday night during a reported domestic squabble.
Michael Glasgow, 39, succumbed to stab wounds he sustained in his chest during the domestic row at the home of a former wife, according to reports.
Police said investigations so far have revealed that Glasgow went to the home of the woman, with whom he had shared a common-law relationship. That relationship had recently ended.
While he was there, an argument ensued between the two and Glasgow was stabbed. He later succumbed and the female suspect was arrested. She is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
Police say a knife suspected to be the weapon used has been recovered.
