It appears that Linden has become the new dumping ground for hijacked vehicles as yet another one was discovered there on Monday.
Another vehicle, which was reported as being hijacked, was found abandoned by police at Old England, Upper Demerara River, a police release said yesterday.
According to the release, around 5 pm on Monday, a white AT Carina 192 was found without identification plates and with the windscreens and bonnet smashed. The release said this is the fourth motor vehicle believed to have been ‘carjacked’ which has been recovered by the police at Linden within the past few days. Previously, hijacked vehicles were often found abandoned on the East Coast.
