A body believed to be that of one of the three Guyanese men who set sail for Venezuela on December 6 was yesterday discovered by Surinamese authorities in a clump of bush along the roadside, sources say.
The other two bodies, reports said, were discovered sometime on Sunday and are believed to be those of Paul DaSilva and Junior Gomez of Pomeroon and North West District, respectively.
The third body discovered yesterday is said to be that of Rudolph Da Silva.
A Charity police source last evening told this newspaper that relatives left since Monday to identify the bodies but the police here have not heard anything since.
The men were supposed to return to Guyana on December 13.
The men reportedly operated a passenger boat service from the North West District to neighbouring Venezuela.
