The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) says citizens should embrace the message of Eid-ul-Adha and be prepared to sacrifice for a better Guyana.
In a press release the party said the story of Eid-ul-Adha is one of sacrifice and love that Abraham displayed for his God. Further, it said, the “message has meaning not only for Muslims but has a universal appeal” and it is particularly significant at this time as the party is “working hard to build a better country and a better world.”
The PPP extends best wishes to the Muslim community and greetings to the nation on this auspicious occasion.
